Certificate of Accreditation by HCERES

From November 30 to December 1, 2023, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) welcomed a delegation of experts from the High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES) of the French Republic for the second institutional external assessment according to HCERES standards.

After receiving HUCE’s self-assessment report, HCERES conducted interviews with various stakeholder groups of the university, including leaders, managers, staff, lecturers, alumni, and representatives of socio-political organizations. The HCERES delegation also inspected the university’s facilities, paying special attention to laboratories, research, science, and technology infrastructure.

Following a period of in-depth study and comprehensive evaluation, on April 10, 2024, HCERES announced that Hanoi University of Civil Engineering had met the requirements for international quality accreditation for the second cycle (2024–2029). This milestone marks a significant step in enhancing the university’s reputation and quality, while opening up broad opportunities for international cooperation.

The HCERES quality accreditation is not merely a title but a commitment to continuous improvement in educational quality. HUCE remains steadfast in pursuing its mission:

“To provide high-quality human resources; conduct scientific research, technological innovation, and knowledge transfer; and co-create for the sustainable development of society and the nation.”
